ABOUT
Founded in 2021, Broken Chord Media provides high-quality media to the arts community. We aim to give artists quality media, while still making it affordable.
We currently provide services for 2-4 instruments and can record audio and/or video in most venues. Our recording services are perfect for singers who are looking to submit audition audio/video. We also record small scale chamber ensembles. Clients we’ve worked for in the past are: Lane Tech College Prep High School, Roosevelt University - Chicago College of the Performing Arts, The Chicago Composers Orchestra, and Wintergreen Music Festival.
Studio quality recordings for a good price: Our approach is to provide professional studio quality recordings, while still retaining a beautiful “live” sound.

AUDIO/VIDEO:
OPTION 1: Audio: $90/hr [After first 2 hours rate is: $75/hr]
Includes:
1-2 songs (depending on length)/hr
3-4 songs = 2 hours, etc.
Audio Mixing w/ high quality WAV and Mp3 files
OPTION 2: Video + Audio: $125/hr [After first 2 hours rate is: $90/hr]
Includes:
1-2 songs (depending on length)/hr
Your choice of 1-2 Single camera videos (with audio)
Audio Mixing & Video Editing w/ high quality WAV, Mp3, and Mp4 files
OPTIONS 1 &2 DO NOT INCLUDE: Accompanist
You must provide your own accompanist (unless discussed with Broken Chord Media to provide for you -see pricing below-)
ACCOMPANIST $75-100/hr (to be paid directly to accompanist)
If you would like Broken Chord Media to provide you with an accompanist, please inform us with your initial correspondence.
Pricing may vary depending on accompanist we are able to book
VENUES:
If you would like Broken Chord Media to reach out to one of our regularly used venues to book, please let us know. Otherwise we will assume you have a venue in place.
Ravenswood Fellowship United Methodist Church: a flat fee of $50 will be added to your overall quote.
Borelli’s Pizza - Stage: a flat fee of $25 will be added to your overall quote.
Musical Chairs Studio - Studio Room: a flat fee of $25 will be added to your overall quote.
